Instytut Pamięci Narodowej (IPN), in English: Institute of National Remembrance.











Its main responsibilities include taking over and providing access to the archives of Communist repressive apparatus. Yet the IPN is not just the largest Polish archive. It is also a major educational and scientific institution, where nearly two hundred historians are involved in reserch of the recent history of Poland. The IPN is the one of the largest publisher of historical books and exhibitions in Poland. The Institute of National Remembrance started to make educational board games in 2009. Most famous boardgame of the IPN is Kolejka. Since 2019 person responsible for boardgames at the Institute of National Remembrance is Łukasz M. Pogoda
