Borras Plana was founded in 1894 by Agapito Borrás.
In 2001, it merged with Educa Sallent, another puzzle and game company.
The merged company is now known as Educa Borras, and is based in Barcelona, Spain.
It markets its products under the brands Educa (for educational games) and Borras (for family games).
